Established in 1979 as a charitable trust, Choirs Aotearoa New Zealand, incorporating the National Youth Choir and the professional choir, Voices New Zealand are seeking a new Chief Executive to lead the choirs to even greater heights of choral excellence.
A role such as this seldom becomes available in New Zealand and has resulted through our current CE accepting another exciting role off-shore.

Chair of the Board of Trustees of Choirs Aotearoa New Zealand Trust, Dr Alan Walmsley, regrets to announce that Chief Executive Barbara George has resigned to take up the position of Chief Executive of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra. “Barbara assumed the post of Chief Executive at a critical time for CANZ and has been instrumental in moving the organisation to the present healthy situation. Her skill and enthusiasm has engendered confidence in our financial supporters and both management and singers” said Dr Walmsley.
