Kerry Stotter

Kerry Stotter FACA was a KPMG partner for 32 years, Kerry retired from the firm in 1999, subsequently working in directorships, governance advisory and in governance of NGOs (non-governmental organisations).
He is a Director of Auckland Regional Holdings, the investment arm of the Auckland Regional Council, chairman of its assurance and risk committee, and is currently the chairman of its subsidiary, Sea+City Projects Limited, which is responsible for leading the development of the Tank Farm and Wynyard Quarter on the Auckland waterfront. He is also chairman, of Waste Disposal Services, a joint venture between Manukau City and Trans Pacific Industries, which operates a significant landfill and transfer station in Manukau City, and of the Stracon Holdings Limited group of companies which operate as a mining services contracting business in New Zealand and Peru.
Kerry is a board member of the New Zealand Rugby Players Association. He is a trustee and chairman, of a philanthropic music charitable trust, and a trustee in a charitable trust promoting sustainability through media. In 'previous lives' he was a trustee of Presbyterian Support Northern for 7 years and its chairman for 3, and a councillor of the national executive of the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand, for 6 years, the last 2 as chairman. Kerry has been active in local, regional and national, church affairs, and those of the accounting profession, over the years.
He is a Fellow of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants and a member of the Institute of Directors. He is married to Jill (a former Dorian Choir member) with 5 adult children and 6 grandchildren.
