TOWER NZ Youth Choir at The Centre, Friday 18th April

A glorious concert conducted by Artistic Director Dr Karen Grylls. A performance unsurpassed in its brilliance. Forty eight superb young voices swathed the auditorium in ethereal sonance and held the audience spellbound throughout showcasing a selection of diverse choral music from around the world, including a song composed by Sarah McCullum, 'The Moon's Glow Once Lit'.

Fine-tuned, impeccably voiced and in perfect timing this choir painted the most splendid sounding masterpieces with tonal colour, timbre and resonance.

To all those who have criticised the acoustics in The Centre, in a word - rubbish. I could hear every voice no matter where the singers stood and with no amplification what-so-ever.

This youth choir undoubtedly has the wow factor.
